Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, driving skills, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally. The Tow Truck Driver plays a vital role in assisting customers and maintaining the safety and functionality of our fleet.

Duties

Safely operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles to designated locations. Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and assist stranded or disabled drivers. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details and locations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and ensuring their needs are met courteously. Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge. Assist with equipment setup or operation of forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading vehicles or parts. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and towing equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally. Experience operating forklifts is a plus for loading/unloading vehicles or parts. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Automotive repair skills are desirable for troubleshooting minor issues on-site. Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate heavy-duty tow trucks safely and efficiently. Pay: $39,973.11-$97,339.69 per year
