Tow Truck Driver

to join our team in

Calgary, AB.

This role will be supporting all CSN-Lift locations in Calgary and surrounding areas. Collaborating closely with the managing owner to ensure efficient and effective towing operations. Our mission to provide top-notch automotive repair services. If you have a strong understanding of the collision repair industry this opportunity may be of interest.

Key Requirements:

Class 5 Drivers License is mandatory. Clean driving record: 5-year commercial Drivers Abstract required. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Towing work. Ability to use GPS to find the quickest and safest route. Knowledge of operating tow trucks and equipment for vehicle recovery. Skill in managing wheel lift tow trucks, which is essential for transporting vehicles safely. Knowledge of dealing with potentially hazardous materials that may be present in some towing situations. Adherence to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the operator and others on the road. Mechanical knowledge is an advantage. Excellent communication and service skills to interact positively with customers. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics to diagnose issues and suggest solutions. Providing services to customers such as tire changes, fuel delivery, and minor repairs if needed. Capability to handle roadside incidents professionally and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to our Location Manager, your duties will include:

Receive communication from the company dispatcher and responding to roadside assistance calls promptly and efficiently. Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident. Interacting with the customer to understand the nature of the problem. Performing roadside vehicle diagnostics and minor repairs, such as jump-starting vehicles, changing tires, and reconnecting vehicle parts. Connecting the damaged vehicle to the truck using a chain, winch, or steering block. Safely loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles using a tow truck or flatbed. Providing exceptional customer service during vehicle pick-up and drop-off. Towing the vehicle to an authorized service station or junkyard. Ensuring all paperwork and documentation are accurately completed. Demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers.
