- Be out on the Ocean driving a tour boat for the Summer
- Driving a 30-foot zodiac with up to 15 passengers
- Telling stories with historical facts, showing wildlife and explaining the area to customers
- getting customers ready for the tour
- gearing up the boat pre-tour
- making sure the boat is safe to depart
- helping with anything else that may need to be done at the store while waiting for customers.
- Fun personality
- S.V.O.P.
- Med 3 or MED SDV-BS
- VHF radio license
- If you don\'t have this and still think you might be the right candidate there is a 5 day course that you can take for all 3 certifications.
- Experience tour guiding or driving boats is definitely an asset. We are looking for professional customer-oriented drivers and guides.
Contract length: 4-5 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- tour guide: 1 year (preferred)
- boat driving: 1 year (preferred)
- SVOP (preferred)
