Join the 50th family! 50th Parallel Estate is looking for Tour Experience Associates to join our industry-leading team this coming 2023 season. We are a passionate, fast-growing organization, seeking individuals who are just as passionate and eager to provide an elevated and Unparalleled Guest Experience. Responsibilities:
- Share your passion for Pinot, People and Place while providing an elevated and memorable guest experience - Showcase our newly created experiences, including touring guests through our estate vineyards and newly created Wine caverns - Tell the 50th Parallel story while promoting and selling our award-winning wines to guests - Promote and sign up new 50th Parallel wine club members - Cross-sell all our services, events, and merchandise - Handle cash and credit transactions through our POS system - Assemble and pack wine orders - Report guest issues to management - Perform opening and closing duties - Set up and take down tours, seated tastings, and other experiences within your purview - Physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds - Restock wine and merchandise items - Wash and restock glasses - Ensure a clean and tidy environment Additional responsibilities may include assisting with events, providing winery tours, and conducting tastings. As a Tour Associate, you will play an integral role in creating a luxurious and welcoming environment for our guests, promoting our brand and products, and contributing to the overall success of our winery. Qualifications:
Minimum 19 years of age
Must have a current Serving It Right Certification.
- Customer-oriented, comfortable with engaging with both small and large groups
efficiently.
- Team player, positive attitude, vibrant and friendly personality.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational and communication skills.
- Keen interest and enthusiasm for wine - WSET or ISG
- Professional and polished, good personal hygiene, no scents or smells during working hours.
- Flexible schedule, must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, while bending, lifting and carrying up to 40lbs. Compensation:
