Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards and Compensation, with a strong understanding of job evaluation and internal equity.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; certifications such as CCP or CEBS are considered an asset.
Proven hands-on experience with Workday Compensation, Benefits, and Absence modules or a similar human capital management system.
In-depth knowledge of Canadian compensation practices, employment standards, and benefits regulations.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong ability to build trust and foster relationships with stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills and experience in cost modeling.
Demonstrated experience in managing group benefits programs and vendor relationships.
A strategic mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to conduct research and distill complex information into clear, actionable reports or proposals.

Primary Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert in salary administration, benefits, and total rewards programs.
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of compensation frameworks, salary structures, and job evaluations.
Oversee annual processes, including compensation reviews and benefits renewals, to ensure competitive offerings.
Conduct salary benchmarking and job market analysis using compensation surveys to recommend best practices in pay and benefits.
Serve as the main point of contact for Southlake Benefits administration, overseeing the payment of benefit premiums and financial reconciliation.
Provide expert guidance to HR Business Partners and organizational leaders on compensation and benefits, including job offers and salary adjustments.
Build and maintain relationships with benefit providers and external consultants.
Stay informed on legislative changes to ensure compliance with employment standards, pension, tax, and benefits regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and support system configurations related to compensation, benefits, and pension processes.
Collaborate with the HRIS Administrator to optimize total rewards processes using Workday, ensuring seamless management of compensation changes and benefits plan updates.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including ESA and the Pay Equity Act.
Conduct analyses related to collective agreements and applicable legislation, implementing necessary changes.
Maintain pay equity and support strategic decision-making through data analysis.
