Job Description


Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of Kal Tire\'s rewards programs.

Core Responsibilities

Compensation

  • Maintain the company\'s job architecture, including career streams and levels, as well as the pay grading system and its alignment with variable pay.
  • Conduct job evaluations and compensation analysis in partnership with HR Operations to support ongoing talent acquisition and organizational design needs.
  • Support with administering & communicating the total compensation program:
  • lead all aspects of the survey submission process including understanding survey methodology, job matching, data gathering, data validation, benchmarking, and preparation of data submission files.
  • collect and analyze survey data to benchmark the company\'s position; model various budgeting scenarios; and recommend changes to salary structures as required.
  • assist with merit and variable pay processes.
  • Support the business and HR Operations team with compensation requests, provide advice and recommendations, help resolve related issues.
  • Support and contribute to compensation projects with research and analysis, as required.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline or automate processes to continuously improve service delivery.
HR Data
  • Maintain data integrity, conducting audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Run reports on an ad-hoc basis; preparation of quarterly reports as required by Board of Directors.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create easily digestible representations of information.
  • Assist with future HRIS implementation.

Work Experience
  • 3 -5 years of demonstrated experience in compensation and benefits program administration and analysis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of base salary, total cash, and total direct compensation plan design and administration
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate results into meaningful recommendations and reports; intermediate analytical and modeling skills
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial compensation and benefits legislation
  • Experience with Peoplesoft and Power BI would be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated experience delivering quick research, analytics and solutions on multiple, competing tasks and priorities in a very fast-paced organization.
Education
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate with a focus in Human Resources
  • CCP or working towards CCP designation.
