Reporting to the Foreman, the Topman will work outside with a pipe crew for the installation of sewer, storm, and water pipe. They will also work on the ground shoveling dirt, loading, and caring for equipment.

How You'll Add Value

Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment Load, unload, and move construction materials around the site Set up, remove, and manage traffic control signs and devices; direct traffic as needed Signal equipment operators to assist with material alignment and movement Cutting and beveling pipes with use of cut off saws, tampers and skid steers Spread gravel and construction materials using a rake or shovel Perform in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt

What You Bring

2+ years of experience[MM1] within utilities installation Physically able to safely lift and carry 40lbs regularly Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed

Note: Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing will be required.
