Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Toolmaker in Leamington, ON for their facillity.

Shift - 8 hr rotating

Duties and Responsibilities:*

Performing preventative maintenance on all tools and dies.

Maintain logs of all maintenance performed incl. SAP - PM.

Repair or replace tools/ dies as needed.

Welding (laser welding) and hand finishing of die steels.

Spotting of molds/ mold parts.

Trouble shooting on 3/D steel dies/ molds.

Perform general maintenance as needed.

Provide support to machine maintenance if needed (interface machine/tooling).

Assist Machine Operators in autonomous maintenance.

Ensure all EKCA and IATF/ISO policies and procedures are adhered to.

Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies and statutory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with 3-D dies with molding process.

Knowledge of hydraulic presses and automated coil feed line.

Must be a certified tool/mold maker.

Minimum 3 years experience.

Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics of equipment. Versed in GD&T.
