We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team at Lockwood Industries. This position is essential for fabricating high-quality tools and progressive dies that meet our manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and design, contributing to our mission of excellence in production.

Responsibilities

Fabricate precision tools and dies according to specifications. Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design and modifications. Operate milling machines and other machinery to produce components. Weld parts as necessary to ensure structural integrity. Conduct inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to maintain quality standards. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve designs and processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAD software. Solid understanding of machining processes including milling and welding. Mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
