Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and provide support to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, caregiving, and experience working with individuals with disabilities. This role involves leading a team, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering positive relationships with both staff and families.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor staff members during shifts to ensure high-quality care and education for children. Develop and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the needs of children, including those with disabilities. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for children and staff. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and professional growth. Assist in training new staff on best practices in early childhood education and caregiving techniques. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies.

Requirements

Previous classroom experience is essential, preferably in early childhood education settings. Experience working with people with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage children in learning activities effectively. A background in caregiving or experience working directly with children is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children, families, and staff members. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
