QUALIFICATIONS

RECE - College of ECE Membership (preferably)

SKILLS, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE

Standard First Aid and CPR certification

Police Records Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector

Up-To-Date immunizations

Oral and written fluency in English is required

Strong team communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Computer experience in MS Word and Excel

Experience relating directly to parents/caregivers

Experience with and sensitivity to all cultures and socio-economic groups

Ability to be flexible with changes

Acting as a role model for co-workers and students by promoting positive relationships in the work environment and setting professional goals and objectives for the program

Able to lift 30 pounds.

Able to keep up, physically, with active children

SHIFT

Rotating dependent on needs of program

HOURS

7.5 hours daily

WORK WEEK

Monday to Friday

RATE OF PAY

Untrained

-$18.36(probation rate) + Wage Enhancement grant +yearly wage increases as per the Collective Agreement + benefits

Trained-

$20.55(probation rate) + Wage enhancement grant + yearly wage increases as per the Collective Agreement + benefits + payment for renewal of College's RECE membership.
