As a Team Leader, you will lead a high-performance team to offer our clients the cost containment solutions necessary to minimize overall claims exposure.

What does your typical day look like?

Maximize savings to grow revenue; Implementing and delivering cost containment strategies proven to be effective; Ensure that active cases are effectively managed to help reduce the overall claims experience and ensure we use cost-based objective criteria to negotiate the best possible settlement; Ensure financial targets are being met or surpassed, while participating in strategic planning to further develop our cost containment strategies; Identify improvements to processes on an on-going basis with the aim of cutting costs and improving efficiency; Ensure performance standards are met and corrective action taken if needed; Ensure the team delivers business results in all aspects of ownership emphasizing efforts directly related to corporate direction.

What skills and training do you need?

Bachelor's degree desired with business emphasis and 5 years' experience in leadership or related role; Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products and Knowledge of Sharepoint; Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel for data analysis & reporting purposes; Knowledge of GEM processes would be an asset; Experience with people management.
