Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience in Tire changes, with a focus on tire installation and maintenance. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with customers to address their needs and provide recommendations. The Tire Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles by performing tire-related services efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Install, balance, and rotate tires on various vehicles using hand tools and power tools. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition. Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tires based on their vehicle specifications and driving needs. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Perform routine maintenance tasks related to tire care, including pressure checks and alignment adjustments. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive repair role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Sales experience is a plus, particularly in recommending products or services to customers. Familiarity with dealership operations is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
