Purpose

The successful applicant must be competent of performing all tasks associated with the maintenance of all tires.

Responsible for their health and safety Correct and report unsafe practices and conditions Maintain a safe and healthful workplace Make suggestions to improve any aspect of safety Follow all Discovery safety policies and procedures

Essential Job Duties


Perform all tasks associated with the maintenance of all tires. Responsible for compliance with OHSA, Corporate and Porcupine Environmental Regulations, Safety, and Sustainability Standards Responsible to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals both within the department and cross-department Must be highly motivated, organized, and must be capable of decision-making Responsible for providing own tools Assisting in other works areas may be required

Training and Education

Must have successfully completed the Tire Technician Program by the TIA (Tire Industry Association) Minimum Grade 12 education Must be competent to operate Tire Manipulator and Loader and assist mechanics when required DZ driver's license Excellent communication, interpersonal, computer, and written skills Must be able to organize work and self-motivated Must be willing to work with others Be technically competent
