We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires on various vehicles. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring customer satisfaction.
In order to qualify for this role the selected candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years certified experience with proof of Certificate and will also require the following:
- Tire Technician TIA Level 200 including:
- OTR (Off the Road)
- Commercial Truck
- Industrial
- Passenger/Light Truck
- Mine site experience
- Foam Fill Certification and experience required on some sites.
- Mine site experience required.
- Foam fill experience and certificate required on some sites
- 2 years or more of industrial experience since full certification

Position Details
Shift Pattern- 2 weeks on , 2 weeks off
Hours Per day - 11-12 hours per day, 154-168 hours per shift.
Location - Working at a northern uranium mine , candidates will be responsible to get themselves to Sasktoon, SK then we will arrange flights from Saskatoon to the mine. Meals and Accomodations will be supplied to the candidate while at site.
Responsibilities
Install, balance, and rotate tires on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform tire repairs, including patching and replacing damaged tires.
Conduct routine inspections of tires and related components to ensure safety and performance.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tire installation and maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tire products and services.
Assist in sales of tires and related automotive products to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, specifically in tire services.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and maintenance tasks.
Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred but not mandatory.
Sales experience is a plus, particularly in the automotive industry.
