We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires while providing excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various power and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install, balance, and rotate tires on various vehicles. Inspect tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations to customers. Perform tire repairs as needed, ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively in the tire installation process. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering product knowledge. Assist in sales of tires and related products to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.

Experience

Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive repair role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Experience in a dealership setting is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A background in sales related to automotive products is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
