Overview
We are seeking two skilled and dedicated Tire Technicians to join our team. We are hiring one full time position as well as a seasonal position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various technical skills related to tire maintenance and repair. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles by providing high-quality tire services. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs with precision and care. Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation. Utilise tools and equipment safely, including jacks, tire changers, and balancing machines. Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot issues related to tire performance and provide effective solutions. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
Experience in a previous tire or automotive shop will be considered an asset but is not a requirement.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
