Tire Technician

Overview

Miramichi Tire is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined and have a passion for automotive repair. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles by expertly handling tire installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires excellent customer service skills and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various types of vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage. Maintain accurate records of tire services performed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the shop. Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working with automotive equipment.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and maintenance tasks. A proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organized work area. A valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
