We currently have a full-time position available for a
Tire Technician
at our
Hartland
location.
This is a great opportunity for a team-orientated person who brings a contagious can-do attitude to the workplace. The Tire Technician will perform inspection, diagnostic, adjustment, service, and repair on all types of vehicles. This is a physically demanding position and the candidate must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Responsibilities and requirements:
ERS (Emergency Road Service) tire calls
Assists in other areas of the Warehouse and Service Department as necessary
Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services safely for all types of vehicles
Includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, repairing, inflating, and installing repaired, or, replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures
Conduct diagnostics, evaluate reparability of damage, and choose and complete proper repair methods
Provide a high level of customer service in line with our company goals
Follow work orders procedures and communicate with front counter staff the work done and the work required
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism to represent a positive company image
Getting tires ready for recapping
Receiving tires
Completing tire inventory
Assisting techs in the shop as needed
Qualifications:
Must work independently with minimum supervision, take initiative and accountability
Follow instructions quickly and efficiently, paying attention to detail
Valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract
Organizational skills a must
Mechanical aptitude is a must
Schedule:
9-hour shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekend availability
On-call after hours
