Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Remove and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth Balance tires to ensure smooth vehicle operation Perform wheel alignments and other related maintenance tasks Assist customers with tire selection and provide recommendations based on vehicle needs Conduct routine maintenance on tire equipment and tools Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

Experience

Prior dealership or automotive repair experience of 6 months is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and tire maintenance is desirable Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment is beneficial Customer service experience is a plus, as the role involves direct interaction with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire installations or repairs Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures enhances job performance Strong attention to detail and safety awareness are essential for success in this role
