Tire Technician - 1st Year Apprentice

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician - 1st year apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tires for various vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive repair, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service. You will work with both hand tools and power tools, demonstrating your ability to handle heavy lifting while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Install, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tire maintenance. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in tire installation and repair tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist in sales by recommending appropriate tire options based on customer needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tire technology.

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic or tire technician is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and maintenance tasks. Previous experience in this role is a plus but not mandatory. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
