Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a hands-on opportunity in manufacturing? Kal Tire is seeking Tire Retread Technicians to join our team at our re-manufacturing facility in Bridgewater, NS for a Temporary/Contract period.

As a Tire Retread Technician, you'll play a key role in extending the life of commercial tires through the retreading process -- helping reduce waste and support our commitment to sustainability. You'll be part of a close-knit production team that values precision, safety, and teamwork.

What to Expect in This Role:

You'll work in a manufacturing environment that can be warm, noisy, and fast-paced. You'll be on your feet most of the day, using hand tools and machines to inspect, buff, and prepare tires for retreading. The work is repetitive but methodical, requiring patience and a strong attention to detail. You'll wear protective gear (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots) and follow strict safety procedures. You'll be part of a supportive team that works together to meet daily production goals.

Pay & Benefits:

Starting wage: $18.00 per hour. Full Time hours Sundays and holidays off Contract Position for up to 3 months. We offer a clear path for career advancement with wage increases along the way. Career growth: opportunities to advance into a permanent position.

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools or equipment. Ability to use PPE and follow safety procedures. Strong work ethic and reliability -- attendance and teamwork are essential. Basic computer skills for recording production data. Valid driver's license preferred.
