Position: Tire & Lube Technician


Employment: Full-time, Term till December


Salary: $17.50/hr (Seasonal for fall - with potential for full-time opportunity)

Responsibilities


Reviewing work orders (what needs to be fixed on the vehicle) and discussing work with advisor


Check motors that are running, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using testing devices to find the problem in the vehicle


Test and change repaired systems to the required standards


Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups


Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset


Interest in mechanical/electronic systems and in motor vehicle


Good problem-solving skills


Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude


Effective communication skills with customers and coworkers.


Ability to reach technical diagrams


Ability to drive a range of vehicle


Precision in performing repairs and inspections.


Valid driver's license
