Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions with precision while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean working environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: $17.85-$43.16 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
