Shift starts at 4am--8-hour shift

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Tim Hortons Baker & Team Member. This role involves creating beautiful and delicious baked goods, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and baking, with a strong understanding of the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs and professional finishing touches Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and food safety standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions Manage packaging of baked goods for retail or catering orders Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks

Qualifications

Proven experience in baking or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery environment Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Experience working in the food industry with an emphasis on bakery Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience, including food preparation, cooking, and packaging, is highly desirable Knowledge of the food industry standards for hygiene and safety is essential

Customer service background preferred Must be able to lift 25 lbs Friendly and outgoing
