Position
To be a positive team member that is committed to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences. This position is focused on supporting and contributing to the success of Tim Hortons.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a team to provide exceptional guest service providing important visual cues for guest that make a positive first impression
Delivers consistent and outstanding guest service through friendly attitude, attentive behaviour, and strong product knowledge
Ensures every guest receives a prompt and warm greeting within 5 seconds at the front counter
Prepares all products as required, minimizing food waste, through production of smaller quantities of food more often throughout the day. Records prepared items and waste on production sheet
Follows the guaranteed Always fresh procedure to ensure coffee, sandwich and bakery products are always baked fresh and always accurate
Ensures that all products are prepared and served to the Tim Hortons recipe specification
Enhances the guest experience by following the SET principles: Smile, Eye contact, Thankyou
Uses proper procedures to ensure the accuracy of every order for every guest E.g. repeating guest order when it is presented to them using H.O.T.R.O.D.S and marking hot beverage lids
Ensures every guest receives a prompt and warm greeting within 5 seconds at the front counter
Maintains speed of service targets by working efficiently with a sense of urgency to fill orders and meet guests needs
Promptly executes service recovery for any guest concerns or complaints by making it right with the guest regardless of involvement in the issue
Operating a Point of Sale System (POS)cash handling experience
Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, specials, events and promotions across the property
Regularly takes temperatures of the required products and records in the Time and Temperature log
Follows all operational standards and guidelines for preparation of products and operation of equipment according to training and operational manuals provided
Monitors fridge and freezer product inventory and submits order quantities
Ensures showcase and product needs are always up to par
Contributes to a positive work environment
Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter
Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
Adhere to all Tim Hortons quality standards and principles and all Casino Rama policies
Responsible for keeping all work surfaces, chillers and small equipment clean, organised and sanitised
Ensures all uniform and grooming standards are followed on each shift
Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned
What You'll Require:
Knowledge of food and beverage service
Have fun while making your guests day

Ability to present and conduct themselves in a professional manner
Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register
Ability to work as a team or independently
Ability to work overtime as required
