We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation, tile laying, and related carpentry skills. Responsibilities

Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation according to project specifications Use hand tools such as trowels, cutters, and levels to lay tiles accurately Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise placement Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar Install various types of flooring including ceramic, porcelain, and stone tiles Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, grout application, and sealing for a professional look Collaborate with other construction professionals including carpenters and general contractors Maintain a clean work environment and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in tile setting, flooring installation, or related construction work Proficiency with hand tools used in tile laying and carpentry Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Strong knowledge of construction practices, including caulking and finishing techniques Maintenance Person experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
