Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and construction, with a focus on tile laying. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality installation of tiles in various settings, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of spaces.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas according to blueprints and specifications. Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives. Lay tiles in patterns or designs as specified, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Apply grout and caulk to finished tile work, ensuring a clean and professional appearance. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing minor repairs as needed. Provide maintenance person services as required, addressing any additional construction or repair needs.

Requirements

Proven experience in tile laying and flooring installation is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools related to tile setting and general construction tasks. Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions. Strong carpentry skills are a plus, enhancing overall project execution. Familiarity with caulking techniques for finishing work is preferred. Previous maintenance person experience is beneficial for addressing diverse project needs. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
