Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented to join our manufacturing and construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical systems, welding, and blueprint reading, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including ductwork, assembly, and structural fabrication, in a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment (TIG), and other machinery safely and efficiently Perform welding tasks including TIG welding to meet project specifications Conduct machining operations using calipers, schematics, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision Rigging and lifting materials Fabricate ductwork and structural components for construction or manufacturing projects Assemble parts and components according to detailed schematics and blueprints Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety standards are followed during operations

Requirements



Proven experience with rigging, mechanical knowledge, welding ( TIG), machining, blueprint reading, and assembly processes Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings for accurate fabrication and assembly Strong understanding of ductwork installation and construction principles is preferred Knowledge of welding codes and safety standards in manufacturing environments Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required in fabrication tasks Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Prior experience in manufacturing or construction industries is highly desirable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.71-$24.80 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
