Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Welder/Fabricator. This position is essential in supporting our construction and manufacturing operations, requiring a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in a construction environment and demonstrate proficiency with multiple tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Conduct assembly of components according to established guidelines and ASME codes & standards. Execute rigging operations safely while handling materials and equipment. Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision in fabrication. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Operate forklifts for material handling when necessary. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong understanding of safety practices. Proficiency in welding techniques including TIG, FCAW, and soldering. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes. Experience with ductwork installation and pipe threading is highly desirable. Ability to operate cranes safely as part of the fabrication process. Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
