Position Overview
G23 Technologies is seeking a Tier 3 Support Specialist to lead complex IT projects. This role is perfect for a senior IT professional with strong technical skills and a knack for client-focused solutions.
What You'll Do:
Advanced Technical Support
Resolve critical IT, networking, and cybersecurity issues escalated from Tier 1 & 2 support
Manage server environments, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), network infrastructure, and enterprise applications
Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term technical solutions
Provide expert consultation tailored to client needs
Project Management
Lead infrastructure upgrades, cloud transitions, cybersecurity enhancements, and system migrations
Deliver client-focused IT strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Oversee project documentation, planning, and execution
Mentorship & Training
Support junior technicians through coaching and knowledge-sharing
Deliver client-facing training sessions and documentation
What You Bring:
5+ years in IT support or managed services (MSP)
Experience leading IT projects for external clients
Strong knowledge of network security, Microsoft 365, servers, firewalls, and VPNs
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and cybersecurity practices
Excellent communication skills and a business-minded approach to IT
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Atlantic Canada
Nice to Have:
Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA certifications
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) or ERP/CRM systems
Background in technical sales or consulting
