Position Overview:
Finning Canada is seeking a Ticketed Maintenance Person for our facility located in Calgary. The successful candidate will be a Red Seal Electrician, and preference will be given to candidates who also have a Power Engineering Ticket. This position is responsible for facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:Review inspection and repair documents for accuracy, completeness and adherence to scope requirements Track and provide technical input/recommendations on inspection and repair reports Using the CMMS program, maintain a history of all inspections and repairs Maintain responsibility for facility equipment and day to day repairs Maintenance of equipment, cleaning and maintaining areas, performing scheduled PM services. Follow-up on recommendations for improvement and ensure implementation

Qualifications:Red Seal Electrician, with preference given to those candidates who also have HVAC experience. Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a facility maintenance related role is mandatory Proficient in computer maintenance management systems Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present effectively Strong planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with strong time management and organizational skills Ability to adapt with ever changing business needs and implement continuous improvement opportunities Exceptionally strong relationship management skills with a strong customer focus

Important Details:This is a 5x2 shift located in Calgary Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement
