Job Description


We are looking for a TIBCO Administrator/ Developer for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Hybrid schedule, at least 3 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.Role Description
The TIBCO Administrator / Developer is accountable to provide subject matter expertise and administration of integration services, specific to the current TIBCO toolset. The Administrator role will provide the following application duties install and update, configuration and tuning, diagnosis and troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades, database management, and coordinate communications with other teams. The Developer role will provide design (including user experience [UX]), coding, testing, debugging, and support for integrations through various technologies and methods.Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design and development of TIBCO oriented software solutions
  • Identify the scope of work required to complete software development activities
  • Creation of technical specification documentation
  • Creation of deployment plan and associated documentation
  • Perform application testing and lead design and code walk-through sessions to ensure adherence to development standards
  • Identify common SOA implementation scenarios
  • Identify the products and technologies used to build connected systems solutions
  • Streamline application development using TIBCO leading practices and standard
  • Manage identities and authorizations using TIBCO leading practices and company policy and standards
  • Participates in code review
  • Provide administration activities for the TIBCO product suite such as installation, configuration, monitoring and support, tuning of applications and provide guidance to development staff
  • Analyze the user needs and develop user requirements
  • Transform detailed requirements into complete detailed systems design document
  • Convert the design into a complete information system.
  • Prepare test case procedures
  • Code, compile, refine programs
  • Perform test readiness review
  • Demonstrate that developed systems conforms to requirements as specified in the functional requirements document
  • Perform defect management, including triage and prioritization
  • Produces test analysis report
  • Plan Implementation and resolution of problems identified in the integration and test phases
  • Operations & maintenance
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5 years experience designing, developing, and delivering secure, robust, and scalable leading-edge application integration solutions and SOA services using TIBCO ESB
  • TIBCO Certifications
  • A solid understanding of SOA oriented design principles
  • A solid understanding of application vulnerabilities and countermeasures
  • Experience producing secure, excellent quality code
  • Knowledge of implementing SSL
  • Knowledge using Oracle databases and SQL coding
  • Experience in delivering successful SOA / TIBCO integration projects using TIBCO suite of products; TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO Designer, TIBCO Administrator, TIBCO Policy Director, TIBCO Hawk, TIBCO Adaptor
  • Experience in SOAP, WSDL, WS-Security, Java, JMS, XML, XSD, XSLT
