Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Thrift Store Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining an organized and visually appealing store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for visual design, and a passion for retail sales.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating items within the store. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Organize merchandise on the sales floor to create an inviting shopping experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including restocking shelves and arranging displays. Assist in pricing and tagging items according to store policies. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Utilize visual design skills to create attractive displays that highlight featured products. Engage with customers to promote special events or sales initiatives. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed during shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Computer skills are required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with social media is advantageous but not required. A passion for thrift shopping and sustainability is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
