Third-Party Risk Manager

SaskCentral is focused on an enterprise-wide journey dedicated to ensuring the success and financial viability of Saskatchewan credit unions. Acting as a utility, we are dedicated to ensuring access to clearing and settlement functions through our own clearing capability as well as that of owned and partner entities. The Job

As the Third-Party Risk Manager at SaskCentral, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that our partnerships with third-parties align with our high standards of risk management, compliance, performance, and operational resilience. You will design and lead a robust Third-Party Risk Management function, championing processes that safeguard our organization against risks while driving efficiency and excellence.

In this role, you'll collaborate across teams to standardize and refine how we manage third-party relationships through their lifecycle. From conducting thorough risk assessments, due diligence and embedding risk-focused contract terms to reviewing contingency plans and ensuring ongoing performance monitoring, you'll oversee every stage of the vendor lifecycle. You will also be required to support complex business issues with material outsourcing arrangements.

By staying attuned to regulatory requirements and industry best practices, you'll continually enhance our policies, tools, and strategies, ensuring we not only meet compliance standards but also position SaskCentral to be highly regarded in the area of third-party risk management.

The Candidate

You're a seasoned professional with a diploma or degree in business, procurement, risk management or a related field and over 5 years of expertise in vendor management, procurement, or compliance, ideally in financial services.

You bring strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, a proven track record in contract negotiations and vendor relationships, and exceptional analytical skills to resolve complex issues. You also have experience in sourcing and negotiating material outsourcing arrangements, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory expectations. Organized, adaptable, and an excellent communicator, you excel at building relationships, collaborating across teams and managing competing priorities.

Pay: $86,000.00-$107,500.00 per year
