THE POSITION
The 3rd Line Cook for the 4 Below is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all Staff Lunchroom products including following menus, abiding by policies and procedures related to food management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. They are also responsible for providing courteous customer service to our patrons and be able to adapt to our customers' needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide friendly customer service to our customers Follow planned menus and approved recipes Prepare products maintaining standards of quality, proportioning, and presentation; Control and minimize food waste; Report low quality product and spoilage to supervisor; Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly; Report potential safety hazards; Perform cleaning duties as directed; Follow food safe guidelines while preparing and cooking food products; Assist with training of new staff during shift; Actively participate in safety programs and follow policies; All other duties as assigned.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly; Positive attitude and a strong attention to detail; Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize effectively. Previous industry experience is considered an asset
