About the Role
We are seeking a
Thermo Engineer
to support advanced thermodynamics and fluid flow analysis activities for aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will apply CFD and heat transfer expertise to optimize aircraft systems and components through simulation, testing, and analytical validation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex analyses of
coupled fluid-heat transfer
using
CFD tools
.
Solve challenges involving
pipe network flow
,
heat transfer
, and
thermodynamics
.
Interpret and contextualize analysis results within aircraft design and system sizing.
Prepare and execute
test plans
for validation (ground and flight tests).
Document analytical results and test findings clearly and accurately.
Develop and maintain
engineering practice documents
and technical standards.
Qualifications
Master's degree in
Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
, with coursework in
fluid mechanics
,
heat transfer
,
CFD
, or
in-flight icing
.
Minimum of
2 years of experience
in
internal flow CFD analysis
.
Experience with
inlet/outlet design and analysis
considered an asset.
Proficiency in
MS Office
, particularly
Excel
(advanced level).
Familiarity with
Unix operating systems
,
HPC environments
, and programming in
Fortran 77/95
,
Visual Basic
,
C/C++
, or
Python
is an asset.
Strong
teamwork
