Job Description

The primary purpose of the position is to plan, develop, organize, implement and validate Therapeutic Recreation programs designed to meet the social, cultural, recreational, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents of York Care Centre. The incumbent is responsible to make decisions that provides for the effective planning, preparation and execution of all aspects of the Therapeutic Recreation Program. Candidates must have successfully completed the Therapeutic Activity Professionals course and/or obtained a degree in Gerontology. Candidates must be physically able to perform assigned duties. Strong organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.08-$25.67 per hour
