To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write clean, scalable software
• Conduct code reviews
• Design software applications
• Lead engineering efforts for specific features and/or applications
• Independently identify and implement solutions to novel technical problems
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to identify and implement software solutions to business problems
• Learn new software languages, tools, and frameworks needed to implement technical solutions
• Mentor team members
• Additional duties assigned by your supervisor
  

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

• 7+ years experience building production-grade software applications
• 3+ years experience working with scaled, complex backend systems
• 3+ years experience working with JavaScript and Node.js
• 3+ years experience developing React applications
• 2+ years experience developing iOS and/or Android applications, either using native tools or a cross-platform framework (eg, React Native)
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript
• Strong experience working with agile development teams
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as laptop, telephone, etc.

Job Summary / Purpose:

As a Fullstack Software Engineer you will be responsible for independently writing, reviewing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade frontend and server-side software. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers who will provide guidance on architecture and design patterns. Your role will include both building/deploying business logic and APIs to power new features for our user-facing applications, and building user interfaces on our frontend applications to consume backend APIs. Our team operates in a mode of continual learning and iteration, so we encourage (and expect) all team members to stay current with industry best practices and suggest new approaches and tools to improve velocity for the team. This role requires significant collaboration within the engineering team engineers and business stakeholders. There will be working sessions with both engineering and the larger product team to identify the correct architecture and technical approach to solve business problems and deliver solutions to the end-user.
