Recreation Theatre Instructor - Performing Arts
Part Time: 2-8 hours a week | Rate: Starting at $25.00/hr. Negotiable depending on experience.
Rise Arts Company is looking for a Theatre Instructor to lead recreational theatre programs across the Vancouver area. Applicants must be comfortable with planning and leading drama/theatre programs for ages 3-12.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be available
Mondays and Wednesday between 3:00pm-6:00pm.
Have a background in drama and/or theatre Have a joy and passion working with children ages 3-12 years old Must have experience lesson planning and leading a range of activities to children and/or youth Must be comfortable leading programs to groups of 25+ participants. Assistant instructors are provided for larger classes Must have the ability to effectively communicate with managers, co-workers, site staff, parents & children Must be highly reliable, punctual and responsible Have the ability to create a safe and welcoming space for children and youth to explore their love for creativityCertifications/Licenses:
Current first-aid certificate. Drivers license. Must complete and pass a Police Information Check specific to working with the vulnerable sector
