Test Data Manager

Job Description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities



Execute and monitor ETL pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems (including Salesforce) and target data stores. Write and run complex SQL queries to verify data transformation logic, joins, filters, and aggregations. Validate data movement and transformations from Salesforce to the data lake/warehouse. Analyze discrepancies in data loads and work with Data Engineers and Developers to resolve issues. Log and manage defects using tracking tools like JIRA Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 years of experience in ETL testing, data quality validation, and BI testing. Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write advanced queries for validation and data profiling. Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks / Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with Salesforce data model (objects, relationships, basic schema).

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking. Clear verbal and written communication. Collaborative mindset and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
