In this role, you will be responsible for all activities associated with Rentals and Sales of RSP Vac Trucks and Mecalac Equipment in Southern British Columbia (including the Lower Mainland).
Generate your own leads for selling our vacuum truck services and other equipment.
Follow up on leads provided from Gear Equipment.
Build and maintain relationships with new and current clients in the civil, pipeline, energy, utilities, construction, infrastructure and similar industries.
Report to the home office at 19067 94th Ave, Surrey, three (3) times per week for the first three (3) months, and minimum once per week thereafter.
Meet or exceed daily outgoing sales actions - 15 per day, 300 per month.
Record all sales actions in NetSuite CRM, calls, site visits, lunches, office visits etc.
Assist the sales team with sales presentations and networking events as required.
Source daily vacuum truck bookings and send all required booking information to the dispatch team.
Ensure the work phone and work email is answered during working hours and forwarded to another team member when you are unavailable.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Have experience in sales and rental of construction equipment at both the office and job site level.
A demonstrated track record as a self-starter who excels at connecting with people and solving problems.
Show a high level of organization in their daily work tasks.
Share our goal of keeping our Vancouver fleet of trucks fully booked as the true definition of success.
