Job Description


Herc Rentals strives to be the employer and supplier of choice in our industry. We are currently looking for Territory Sales Representatives to come and join our team. The successful candidate will come from the construction industry, be a go-getter, uncovering new opportunities in which to sell while having the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals in their designated territory. The Sales representatives goal is to maximize revenue for the branch and the company.Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and branch revenue
  • Establishing new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer sites
  • Develop out of the box sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
Requirements
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Proficient with computers
  • Exceptional organizations skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
Educational BackgroundBA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferredConditions of Employment
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in the construction, heating, plumbing, restoration or equipment market industry
  • Must have valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
