Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. This role is essential for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within a defined territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, account management, and business development, with a focus on B2B sales. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will leverage your skills in negotiation, customer service, and lead generation to build lasting relationships with clients while effectively managing your territory.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales goals. Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, product demos, and upselling opportunities. Manage existing accounts while actively pursuing new business through lead generation and direct sales efforts. Utilize CRM software (such as Salesforce) to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance. Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional strategies with territory needs. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and territory management for senior management.

Qualifications



Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in technology or B2B environments. Strong management skills with the ability to lead initiatives and drive results. Experience in account management and developing long-term customer relationships. Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes. Ability to conduct product demonstrations effectively and engage clients in technical discussions. Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly. Previous experience in retail or inside sales is a plus.
