GSK is looking to hire a Territory Manager, Vaccines to join our Vaccines Division for an 18-month maternity leave contract. This role is located on Vancouver Island, BC, and reports directly to the District Sales Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing a territory business plan, promoting and selling GSK's vaccine portfolio, and effectively communicating its value to healthcare professionals. You will play a critical part in educating healthcare professionals, strengthening customer relationships, and driving business growth. This role is critical in helping Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer while contributing to GSK's mission of positive health impact.

As a Territory Manager, you will work in a field-based capacity, traveling within your assigned geography. GSK will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Selling GSK vaccines and medicines to support patient health while meeting commercial objectives
Developing a business sales plan tailored to individual customers and executing a territory business plan to achieve/surpass sales targets
Delivering relevant, insightful product information to healthcare professionals through effective dialogue
Maintaining deep knowledge of GSK's products, positioning, and strategies, as well as key competitor activity
Negotiating contracts where applicable and supporting customer accountability to contractual goals
Understanding how diverse patients and healthcare providers navigate the system and using that insight in discussions
Building and maintaining a strong network of healthcare professionals to grow vaccine sales
Strategically allocating budget and resources to deliver customer value
Contributing to business goals through sound judgment and ethical decision-making
Collaborating cross-functionally and fostering innovation through teamwork, energy, and commitment
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree
4+ years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or healthcare preferred)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for company vehicle eligibility)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel throughout the territory and for national/regional meetings (some overnight travel)
Demonstrated selling excellence, with a strong sense of initiative and a business owner mindset focused on continuous improvement and performance.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers with clarity, structure, and passion, paired with active listening.
Proven ability to interpret scientific research and translate complex information into meaningful, customer-relevant insights.
Solid analytical capabilities, with in-depth knowledge of data analysis techniques to support strategic decision-making.
Skilled in negotiation with a customer-centric approach, fostering strong, value-driven relationships.
This position requires the employee to drive routinely on Company business and allows for the provision of a company - leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements
