Brandt Truck & Trailers is currently seeking a Territory Manager for the Grande Prairie area. This position is responsible for direct sales and rental of new and used heavy-duty transportation trucks and trailers. With a solid understanding of industry trends and upcoming auctions, the Territory Manager will forecast and identify prospective equipment for sale or consignment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts
Participate in all sales opportunities, and close competitive sales
Assure good working relationships between customer and Brandt to resolve problems and grow customer loyalty
Profile all accounts, keeping customer contact info up-to-date
Maintain complete records related to each sale, including call reports, quotes, specifications, sales orders, expense reports, and other documentation as required
Regular travel to assigned territory

Required Experience
A positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges
Experience with Microsoft Office
Understanding of specialized transportation equipment and industry
Strong people skills, with high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships
Ability to work unsupervised, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities
5 years sales experience (or equivalent)
Class 5 drivers licence required; class 1 would be considered an asset
