About the role:
As a Territory Manager at Adastra Labs Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and ensuring the success of our sales operations within your designated region. This is a dynamic position where you will blend strategic planning with hands-on execution to build strong relationships with retailers, optimize regional performance, and champion Adastra's industry-leading cannabis products. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your contributions will directly impact the company's sales growth.
Duties and responsibilities (include and are not limited to):
Oversee all aspects of sales activities within the designated region, including the development and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
Manage regional P&L to meet financial targets and deliver on the company's objectives.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with retailers, ensuring exceptional service and support.
Stay informed about legislation affecting the cannabis industry and communicate updates to the head office team and sales representatives.
Represent the company at relevant cannabis trade shows and events within the region.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and initiatives.
Collaborate with sales management to devise overall sales strategies, with a focus on key accounts.
Manage inventory effectively within the region, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Analyze division expenditures and prepare monthly sales reports, identifying risks and opportunities.
Focusing on sales opportunities & forming key relationships with buyers.
Potential for Ad hoc projects.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/competencies:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong understanding of the cannabis industry, including strains, effects, consumption methods, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
Experience in project management, with the ability to plan, organize, and achieve goals effectively.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to manage budgets, profitability, and expenses.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for the cannabis product and category.
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees and management.
Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Must obtain or the ability to obtain all provincially required Cannabis certifications (Cansell)
Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
