Terminal Support Staff

then you have what it takes to join our team! We're looking for someone to start part time with possibility to become full time.

:

General support for terminal operations including dispatch, customer service and forklift operation

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday; 08:00 - 12:00, with possibility to become full time

Location:

9020 92 St, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 7P5

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working as part of the Operations Team, establish, modify and execute the daily dispatch plan. Assist with customer service inquiries, and respond to voicemails and emails left after hours. Set appointments for deliveries and pickups, as needed. Update trip sheet records in the dispatch system, ensuring the accuracy of log hours and billing requirements. Day to day communication, via phone and text message, with drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out. Operate pallet jacks and forklift to transfer cargo in the warehouse, and helping to load trucks as needed.

What a successful candidate will bring:

Experience in dispatch and reception in the logistics and transportation industry is a strong asset. Strong organizational multi-tasking and planning skills. A customer service mindset, and excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Experience operating a forklift in a high-traffic space is required Transportation experience desired

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly wage to start $21-$23 dependant on experience



This position is eligible for overtime for any hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day, or 40 hours per week
