ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Cement Terminal Operator.The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, be committed to safety, and have a Willingness to learn.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


Education:

High school diploma

Additional Education Preferred:

postsecondary/trade school completion/classes

Required Work Experience:

Cement or Terminal operator.Previous experience in a similar role or industrial setting preferred but not mandatory.

Required Training/Certifications:

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, around moving equipment, and physically.

Required Technical Skills:

Mechanical aptitude

Additional Requirements:

Operate, monitor, and control equipment to ensure the safe and accurate movement of materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of terminal equipment. Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and identify/report potential issues. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures. moving equipment, and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
