Augustana Campus
The Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta is located on Treaty Six territory in the City of Camrose, 90 kilometres southeast of Edmonton. Situated in rural Alberta, the campus is home to approximately 900 students and offers bachelor's and master's degree programs offered by the U of A's Augustana Faculty and the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, respectively. Augustana Campus provides a distinctive learning experience characterized by close connections between students, staff and faculty and numerous opportunities for student participation in athletics, clubs and campus organizations. Position
The Chemical and Physical Sciences program at the Augustana Faculty has a sessional teaching vacancy for Winter Term 2026 to teach AUCHE 279, Physical Chemistry. The winter 11-week term runs from January 26 to April 17, 2026.
Duties
Develop and present lectures in physical chemistry.
Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and other course assessments.
Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to respond to student questions.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in physical chemistry or a related area.
Demonstrated excellence or strong potential in teaching at the post-secondary level.
